Melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add asparagus, shallot, and mushrooms. Cook until starting to soften, about 4 to 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add teriyaki sauce. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until asparagus reaches desired tenderness. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve immediately.

Instructions. In a large skillet, add 1 tablespoon vegetable oil; and chopped asparagus, and cook until tender/crisp, about 4-5 minutes. Remove asparagus from skillet, and transfer to a bowl. set aside. Add remaining oil to skillet, and add chicken and cook for about 4 minutes on each side or until chicken is cooked through.

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a small saucepan, whisk together the teriyaki sauce, honey, soy sauce, ginger, garlic powder, lime juice, and sesame oil. I used a microwaveable steamer. It took about 4 minutes to steam. Melt the butter in a saute pan. Add the mushroom and sesame seed and cook until the mushroom is tender. Add the lemon juice, sesame oil and soy sauce. Mix well. Place the steamed asparagus in a baking dish and pour the mushroom sauce over top. Serve with the salmon.

Stir cornstarch mixture and add to pan. Bring to a boil; cook and stir 1-2 minutes or until sauce is thickened.
