Olive Oil and Rosemary Potato Chips Recipe for Holiday Snacking

Parmesan Rosemary Potato Chips

1 medium russet potato, peeled Kosher salt to taste. 1 teaspoon crumbled dried rosemary. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Brush 2 large baking sheets lightly with oil. Use a mandoline or hand-held slicing machine to cut the potatoes lengthwise into 1/8-inch slices. Arrange the slices in one flat layer on the baking sheets.

Preheat oven to 400°. Oil cookie sheet. Slice potatoes thin. Place on cookie sheet, spread out completely so none are on top of each other. Drizzle olive oil on all pieces; don't be stingy, this is where you get a lot of the flavor! Sprinkle salt and chopped rosemary, making sure every single chip gets a good amount of each. Bake for 18 minutes.

Truffle hot sauce or hot sauce of choice, to taste. 1/8 tsp black sesame seeds (optional) 1. Preheat oven to 450F. Line large baking sheet w/unbleached parchment paper. 2. Slice potato into ~12 lengthwise slices, about 1/4" thick each. Arrange on baking sheet. Brush both sides of potato slices w/oil.

Fill a large pot with about 1 1/2 inches of equal parts olive oil and vegetable oil. Line a baking sheet with paper towels.

Toss 1 1/2 pounds thinly sliced russet potatoes with 2 teaspoons chopped rosemary, 1 grated garlic clove, 3 tablespoons olive oil, 3/4 teaspoon salt and a pinch of cayenne. Spread on a baking.

Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray it with oil. Place your potatoes in a large bowl and add olive oil, rosemary, garlic powder, and salt—then toss them together. Arrange the potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 8 minutes.

Add the potatoes and cook for 3 minutes. Drain the potatoes and spread them on a paper-towel-lined baking sheet. Allow to dry for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a Dutch oven to 325 degrees. In the bowl of a mini chopper, pulse the kosher salt and rosemary. Transfer to a shallow dish or spice shaker.

Drain and dry very well with paper towels or spin in a salad spinner. Heat a large pot of vegetable oil to 350 degrees F. Add the potatoes in batches and fry until crisped, about 3 minutes per.

Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Spray with cooking spray. Spread potatoes on baking sheet in a single layer. Bake at 400 degrees for about 40 minutes. Flip half way during baking time. When the chips get crispy they are done. If desired, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese during the last few minutes of baking time.

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Peel the potatoes then slice them using a mandoline. If slicing by hand, cut each piece as thin as possible. As you cut the potatoes, place them onto the baking sheet, side by side. Evenly garnish with sea salt, rosemary, Parmesan, and drizzle the olive oil over.


Clean Eating Rosemary Potato Chips The Kitchen Shed

Add 1″-1 1/2″ of oil to your frying pan and heat it to 325 degrees. Carefully add 2 sprigs of rosemary and allow it to fry for 1 minute. Remove it to a paper towel lined baking rack. Working in batches, carefully add a single layer of potato slices, careful not to crowd them.

Heat the air fryer. I use the Optimum HealthyFry. Place in a bowl with the remaining ingredients and mix until the chips are thoroughly coated. 1 sprig fresh rosemary, 2 tsp olive oil, 1 pinch sea salt flakes, good grinding of black pepper. Place the chips into the air fryer basket and set to 200℃ (400℉) for 20 minutes.
