A Polar Express Party. December 12, 2017. This year for my daughters 1st grade class, we are having a Polar Express class party at school before we break for the holidays. The kids get to wear pajamas to school which is fun in itself! Below are the crafts, activities, etc that we'll be using for the party plus a few other fun things we are.

Everyone was invited to come in their pajamas and we served a super easy breakfast buffet of muffins, breakfast casseroles and fresh fruit, and of course we had a hot chocolate station ('HOT CHOCOLATE!').

I stacked some vintage-style suitcases on the floor and added some Polar Express holiday party props. Christmasy luggage tags, red ribbon, fluffy faux snow and greenery, and a conductor's hat and lantern all really helped to set the scene. Next, I set the table. For the food I chose a Polar Express classic, hot chocolate. We did a regular milk chocolate hot chocolate, I used this recipe found on One Good Thing By Jillee and a white hot chocolate, I chose a classic from I Heart NapTime. Both were made in the crock pot so preparation for those took less than 5 minutes. We had sprinkles, crushed up candy.
