Yao Mountain. Located in the northeast of the Guilin City, some 10 kilometers away from the center of the Guilin City, the Yao Mountain (氧汱) got its name from a Yao emperor temple built in the Qin dynasty (221 - 207BC) on the top of the mountain. The main peak, the highest hill in Guilin City, has an altitude of some 910 meters.
