adf.ly Killer - Chrome Extension for Breezy Sims 4 CC Downloading I stumbled upon this Chrome extension and decided to give it a try. Now whenever I'm downloading CC for The Sims 4, it automatically skips any and all adf.ly links and takes me straight to Sims4Share or whatever other file hosting service is being used.

There are still broken Adfly links out there.. was using my knowledge with sims3 cc but I can imagine these creators who may be younger and have only ever experienced sims 4 (for the most part) being a little colder to some extent. Not to judge anyone in that demographic but.

The ads that are on it can contain viruses which is why people avoid it. I use Fast Forward [formerly Universal Bypass] which skips all the waiting and pop up ads.

I was downloading some content today and Adf.ly started echoing and causing pop-ups like it normally does, only this time I noticed that it downloaded something automatically. It was a link to something in Chrome that I quickly deleted.

First it wanted me to disable my adblocker,but that isn't going to happen because lesson learned after third time doing so and getting a virus. The something called Power App wanted to install as a google chrome extension, but I checked the play store.

Now the laptop did not want to reformat to remove it all, and the one key restore failed which was the only way to keep Windows 7 on it after formatting it, so RIP my sims 2 and 4 laptop. Adfly, at least, should end up taking you to wherever they're hosting (normally just Sims File Share), and then you download the CC from there.
