Lac de Grosley bestaat uit 2 vijvers, Ă©Ă©n van 12 ha en Ă©Ă©n van 4 ha. De grote vijver heeft een eiland in het midden en de begroeiing op de oever bestaat uit bomen en struiken. De bodem van deze oude grindafgraving bestaat uit een harde kiezelbodem, met hier en daar zand en modder dat heel wat natuurlijk voedsel bevat.
