Apple Trailers just posted a featurette on the full scale Bubbleship they built for the film "Oblivion". Somehow I just know there has to be someone here wanting to build a model of this ship or some model company putting out a scaled kit or built model of it..most likely from Sideshow collectibles. If Apple made helicopters, it would probably look like this. Released by Fantastic Plastic Models in August 2014, the Oblivion Bubble Ship kit was mastered by Ed Holt and cast by BLAP! Models. Vacuform components were made by Mana Studios. The kit also featured white metal landing gear cast by Kings Road Miniatrues. Decals are by JBOT.

It's an awesome model, but it needs some fixing up, animating and a flight model. I'll watch the movie tonight to make sure I pick up on some nuances.
