The lakeside Monrepos Palace, the former hunting lodge of Duke Eberhard Ludwig and expanded by Duke Carl Eugen, is one of Stuttgart's most prominent landmarks and is considered a masterpiece built in the ornate Rococo style. Its interior is decorated in the style of the Napoleonic era, and in the summer, this palace is the setting for romantic concerts.
